About MixieWala

MixieWala is an independent guide for Indian and South Asian households in the US who want their kitchen to work the way it did at home: mixie on the counter, batter in the grinder, cooker whistling on the stove.

The site exists because of one recurring problem: a 230V appliance arriving in a 120V home. We list only products that are built for US power or have no plug, and we say plainly when a listing leaves something unclear.
